Everything you need to know about ordering desserts from Lupica's Sweet Treats.
Are you a cottage bakery?
Yes. Lupica's Sweet Treats operates as a Florida cottage food operation, baking direct-to-consumer desserts from our DeLand home kitchen.
Where are you located?
We bake in DeLand, Florida (Volusia County) and serve customers throughout Volusia County, Seminole County, and surrounding Central Florida communities.
Do you have a storefront?
No, we do not operate a public retail storefront. Orders are placed in advance and arranged for pickup, drop-off, shipping within Florida, or full event setup.
Do you deliver?
Yes. Free delivery anywhere in West Volusia County (DeLand, Deltona, Orange City, DeBary, Lake Helen) with a $100 minimum order. Outside West Volusia — including Daytona, Sanford, and Orlando — delivery is quoted by mileage. Orlando weddings welcome on orders of $400 or more.
Do you ship within Florida?
Yes — shipping within Florida is available for many items where allowed under Florida Cottage Food Law. Some delicate items are pickup or local drop-off only.
Do you do weddings?
Absolutely. Wedding dessert bars are one of our specialties, including full styling and on-site setup.
Do you set up dessert tables?
Yes. We offer full dessert table decoration and setup at your venue for weddings, showers, and events.
How far in advance should I order?
Weddings need a minimum of 1.5 weeks notice, and most other orders need at least 48 hours depending on the calendar. Weddings are booking up to a year out — Jennifer currently has weddings on the books into March 2027.
Is there a rush fee?
No. Last-minute orders are welcome whenever the schedule allows, with no extra rush charge.
Do you charge a deposit?
Orders over $50 require a 20% deposit to lock your date. The balance is due 48 hours before pickup for smaller orders, or 1 week before the event for weddings and large catered events.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you cancel before the final-payment window (48 hours for small orders, 1 week for weddings), the 20% deposit is non-refundable but the rest is returned. Refunds inside the final-payment window are reviewed case by case.
Can I request custom colors or themes?
Yes. Share your colors, theme, and any inspiration you have and we'll match your event style.
Do you offer pickup?
Yes — pickup from our DeLand location is available for confirmed orders.
Do you accept online payments?
Yes. After your order is confirmed, Jennifer sends a secure Square invoice you can pay online with a card.
What does a wedding dessert bar cost?
Pickup packages start at $200 (Copper) and go up to $650 (Sparkling Diamond) with hundreds of mini desserts. Styling, delivery, décor, flatware, and plates are quoted on top. See the dessert menu for full per-dozen pricing.
Do you offer gluten-free, dairy-free, or sugar-free options?
Yes — gluten-free key lime tarts, chocolate chip cookies, and peanut butter cookies; sugar-free chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies; and dairy-free cookies and mini strawberry shortcakes are all available on request.
Do you rent dessert tables, flower walls, or candy buffets?
Yes. Dessert bar/table rentals, flower wall backdrops, and candy buffet setups are available as add-ons to any event order. Custom wedding and birthday guest baskets are also available.
Do you sell wholesale?
We focus on direct-to-consumer custom orders for events, weddings, and parties. Reach out about your needs and we'll let you know what's possible.
What allergens are used in your kitchen?
Our kitchen handles wheat, dairy, eggs, soy, peanuts, and tree nuts. Please discuss any allergies or sensitivities when placing your order — cross-contact may occur.
Are your products made under Florida Cottage Food Law?
Yes. Made in a cottage food operation that is not subject to Florida's food safety regulations.
Can I order for an event venue?
Yes. Just share your venue name, address, date, and any setup window the venue gives you when requesting your quote.
